Light Conditions: decent lighting. bird moved out of shade and into shade
Description:        Size of bird: medium size warbler

(Description:)  Overall Pattern: white under, yellow chest throat and head, green gray back.
(Description:)            Bill Type: long for a warbler.

Field Marks and
Identifying Characteristics:
located in a mixed flock of migrants. seen well with the binos first, and later tracked for photos. bright lemon yellow overall, lacking any streaking in the breast or sides, white belly down into the UTC's. long sharp bill, dark eyeline, and a short tail. lemon yellow wingbars over more greenish back and wings. Seems fine for a first winter bird.

Behavior: migrant foraging
Habitat: in the cottonwoods of halfway wash.
Similar species and how
were they eliminated:
OCWA;
lack of streaking, tail too short, dark eyeline, long bill, all ruling out OCWA.
