Field Marks and Identifying Characteristics: |
located in a mixed flock of migrants. seen
well with the binos first, and later tracked for photos. bright lemon
yellow overall, lacking any streaking in the breast or sides, white
belly down into the UTC's. long sharp bill, dark eyeline, and a short
tail. lemon yellow wingbars over more greenish back and wings. Seems
fine for a first winter bird. (see photos) |
