Mostly yellow-orange overall with black on face, throat, back, and wings. White stripe on wings.

Song or call & method of delivery: No calls heard, or I could not differentiate the call of this bird from the other orioles in the area at the same time.
Behavior: Foraging from hummingbird/oriole feeders.
Habitat: Suburban backyard with multiple fruit trees.

were they eliminated:
The male Bullock's Oriole has a deeper orange color and lack a "hood".
