(Description:)  Overall Pattern: Gradiating Gray, Darker on back, tail was gradient darkest at bottom with stripes, grey and white breast

Field Marks and
Identifying Characteristics:
Hawk was all grey and white with horizontal marking on breast. Light grey head. Dark grey back. Tail was white and grey striped that was darkest at bottom. Sharp talons. Yellow legs and yellow near top of beak nearest face. He did not seem jumpy or skiddish but sat watching neighborhood birds. Black eyes. He did not make sounds.

Behavior: watched us and seemed to be watching all the neighborhood birds. Turned and flew back behind
Habitat: Tall well established trees in a city neighborhood near cliffs and desert

were they eliminated:
Cooper's Hawk was discussed but it lacked any color.
