Field Marks and
Identifying Characteristics:
Grayish yellow head with brighter yellow chin and breast. Bright yellow eye ring with a dark horizontal streak running from base of bill to other side of eye ring. White underbelly. Gray wings and tail with white streaks in places.

Song or call & method of delivery: Did not observe.
Behavior: Perched in bare tree for a few moments.
Habitat: Mixed forest with pines and some deciduous trees.
Similar species and how
were they eliminated:
Pine warbler. Bill is thicker than Pine warbler and also has a little hook at the end. Lacks the streaks on the breast and sides that Pine warblers have.
