Field Marks and
Identifying Characteristics:
Dark female Mallard type duck with yellow bill of drake. Watch bird which seemed to be paired with a hen Mallard. Did not notice any curl in tail and edges of tail seemed to be nearly as dark as body except what looked like the occasional light reflection. There was one about this same time last year that did show a few signs of Mallard in it. Very distant scope views, photos and short videos.

Behavior: Swimming and dabbling to feed
Habitat: Edge of reservoir were creek flows in.

were they eliminated:
Mallards, this bird was darker than hen Mallard with a drake Mallard looking bill.

Seen many in Arizona.
