Bird was in a Juniper tree in a field. Field marks: olive-gray-brown
upper parts; lighter gray-brown underparts streaked with brown; yellow
under tail covets; tips of underside of tail feathers, white;
brownish-gray with no Rufus on cap; white line above eye; black line
thru eye. black bill; legs brownish. (see photos) |

Reviewed warblers in Stokes, Warbler Guide, Sibley's comparing similar brown/yellow warblers. Sent photos to Rick Fridell for identification. He called it Palm Warbler |

I've seen this bird in Florida. We only routinely have about five warbler species in the county. This one is NOT one we see here. |
