were they eliminated:
My first thought was Ash throated but it was bigger and more yellow than that but I decided on ash throated. Max Malmquist saw the photos and that's when we knew I had something different. He said I'd change it to Great-crested

Only in TX a few years ago
References consulted: I even checked merlin to look at brown crested...but still put Ash-throated
