Field Marks and
Identifying Characteristics:
Gray warbler with golden wing stripe, golden cap extending to bill base above eye, thick black mask and throat, gray nape, white triangle above articulars and between mask and throat. Plain gray above and paler gray below with no streaking, no wing bars.

Song or call & method of delivery: Two-toned buzz higher on first note: Zee-zay-zay-zay and rapid buzzing: Ze-ze-ze-ze-ze.
