Field Marks and
Identifying Characteristics:
Photos sent to me for ID assistance by Meg Roberts so I gave chase. Medium sized warbler with a fairly long tail and bill. Crown, nape, rump and back a bright yellow-green. Throat, cheek, breast and belly a pale whitish gray. White undertail coverts. Black wings with prominent yellow wingbars and edging to tertials, bold complete white eyering. Mostly dark tail, gray legs and feet. Assuming a hatch year bird due to lack of any black in face or red in flanks. Very distinctive.
