Field Marks and
Identifying Characteristics:
Bright yellow crown. Black eye line from bill to back of head. White cheeks, with black whisker. Bright chestnut sides. White undersides with darker back with whitish/yellow wing bars.

Song or call & method of delivery: It was singing but don't recall the song or take a recording of it. Was singing at the top of the tree.
Behavior: Singing and sitting atop a tree.
Habitat: Deciduous wooded area.
Similar species and how
were they eliminated:
Took multiple photographs and was pretty clear it was a Chestnut-sided Warbler.

None. I was looking at something that I'd never seen before.
