Optical equipment: Nikon Monarch 10X42 Binoculars, Canon 7D w/ Canon 100-400mm lens.
Weather: No wind.

Description:        Size of bird: Small, warbler sized.
(Description:)       Basic Shape: Similar to Orange-crowned warbler.
(Description:)  Overall Pattern: Greenish yellow overall. White underatil coverts
(Description:)            Bill Type: Sharp bill.

Field Marks and
Identifying Characteristics:
Greenish yellow coloring on head, breast and back. Faint wing-bars present. Most notable feature was the white undertail coverts. Bird had a sharp looking bill and dark lores with a light yellow/green supercillium.

Song or call & method of delivery: Giving a high pitched "Seet" call. Different sounding than Orange-crowned, Yellow-rumped, Wilson's, and Yellow Warblers nearby.
Behavior: Actively flitting around from tree to tree close to the trail.
Habitat: West edge of bountiful pond in medium-sized deciduous trees.
Similar species and how
were they eliminated:
Orange-crowned Warbler: Overall greenish yellow color did not contrast between the head and the mantle. Pale supercillium also stood out. White undertail coverts was probably the most differentiating feature that ruled out Orange-crowned Warbler.

this & similar species:
Seen before in Texas.
