"Jack has ask me if I could get better photos showing the length of the tail feathers since this is a determining factor separating Gilded Flicker from Northern Flicker. Since the specimen is in advanced state of decomposition and losing many of its feathers I pulled one side of the tail retrices and photographed them on graphed centimeter paper. I hope you can add this to the record for review."
