Identifying Characteristics:
The "cheBek" call was given very vocally and repeatedly during entire observation. I listened to playback from Sibley phone app and it matched. The flycater responded and flew toward the sound of the playback.

Behavior: Calling and flycatching, perching mid to high-level of trees
Habitat: Small stand of Cottonwood trees near open field

The call was heard and the bird responded to the Least Flycatcher calls from my phone app.

this & similar species:
First sighting, but it was observed and reported by other local birders before and after my observation.
