Bird was very light very little fine streaks on sides, one fine streak under
tail, rump and over tail white, very light head and back with smaller looking
bill than other birds near it, and very little red on breast. (see photos) |

Common Redpoll bill shape comparison; flatter forhead than the commons it was near; latch of streaking under tail, on sides, and rump area; total lack of color on back and head other than the red spot on forehead; also when bird looked around it did not have a thinner looking neck area as did the common's, |

A bird matching this bird was here Nov. 12, 2012 and since then I have sent alot of hours researching a talking with experts about the Hoary's and what to watch for. I also have had many Common Redpolls everyday from Nov. 12, 2012 to today Jan. 31, 2013. |
