Photos D: [7257] = Typical of many photos due to
difficult photo conditions of overcast day, rapid wing-beat, slow
shutter speeds, rain, and numerous other excuses that mostly boil down
to a very amature photographer. However, if this is not documentation of
the often noted comparison of a Vaux's Swift to a flying cigar, than
what is? |

Photos E: [7259 & 7239] = Attempts to capture the
upper side of a Vaux's Swift to document pale rump and distinguish it
from Chimney Swift ( a difficult task considering the rate of speed that
the subject is moving in low light with a busy background of willows.
Although blurry, 7239 shows the best pale rump of any of the photos and
resembles what I was seeing more clearly through my binoculars. |
