Identifying Characteristics:
We could see the brown crown of the head and down the back. The line of light white above eye. The yellow eye. The black feet.

This was the same bird that was seen on 1-4-09 on the christmas bird count by Jay and Robert.

Behavior: walking and eating on the ice near the reeds.
Habitat: ice in the canal, Reeds and grass.
