Sugarhouse Garden Center (NE corner of Sugarhouse Park)

Doors open at 6:45 Presentation begins at 7:15

Everyone’s welcome!   Refreshments!!!

Spring is in the air and everyone needs a “partner” for the mating season.  Don’t be left out!  Ron Greer, Habitat biologist for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources will present on the Columbian Sharp-tailed Grouse and the Sage Grouse.

You will be able to see for yourself the “dance of the lek” on a field trip he will lead on Saturday, April 23rd.  Meet at the Golden Spike Travel Plaza, exit 40 off of I-84 (the second Tremonton exit) at 6:15am.  We will travel about 15 miles from the meeting point.  The grouse are usually gone by 9:00am, but there are plenty of other birds in the area if you would like to stay longer.  This is a great opportunity to educate yourself in what is going on with the upland game population.  Sign up for this free field trip with Sylvia Gray, 532-3486.
